How to uninstall Windows 10 and return to Windows 7 or 8 / 8.1

You do not like for Windows 10?

As long as you have updated in the last month, you can uninstall Windows 10 and downgrade your PC back to its original operating system Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. You can always upgrade to Windows 10 again later.
Even if passed more than a month, you should be able to reinstall the version of Windows that came with your PC using fresh installation media and product key.

Go back to Windows 7 or 8 / 8.1
If you have updated a PC from Windows 10 - has not performed a clean install, but an upgrade - you will have an easy option that allows you to revert to the latest version of Windows. To access it, open the Start menu and select Settings. Click on the "Update & Security" and select "recovery".
You should see a "Go back to Windows 7" or "Go back to Windows 8.1" option. Click on the button to start to get rid of Windows 10 to install and restore previous windows install. Microsoft will între7ba why you want to come back.
If there was more than one month - or if you run the Disk Cleanup tool and remove "previous installations of Windows" or deleted files folder C: \ Windows.old hand - you will not see this option. Windows 10 appears to automatically remove old Windows installation files after a month to free up space.

It uses Windows.old folder
It works because it keeps Windows 10 installation files for Windows old folder called "C: \ Windows.old" on your computer. You can see this folder in File Explorer, unless should try to delete it from here. You can also browse the Windows.old folder and restore files from it.

Clearly, each storage installation file for Windows old need a lot of space.
If you open Disk Cleanup, you see how much space it uses.
Click the Start button, type "Disk Cleanup" to search for a launch and click "Clean file system."
Find "previous Windows installation (s)" list, and you will see how much space is consumed on your hard disk.
If you're sure you do not want to go back to the previous version of Windows, use the Disk Cleanup tool to remove these files and free space immediately.
